Welcome to the Evelyn City Neighborhood

Evelyn City is a subdivision of a large Tampa neighborhood known as Old Seminole Heights and was initially developed in the early 1900s. For the purposes of this blog, the boundaries will be: the Hillsborough River to the north, 275 to the West, 22nd Street to the East and Sligh Ave to the South.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and resolved in the area, however I feel that this is a great neighborhood to live in. We have a wonderful diversity of homes, people, parks, and businesses.

Bad Business

Last year we used Budget Heating & Air to do the work we needed done at the Robson Duplex. After hassling them to finish the work and letting them know that we were deducting one months rent from the total bill, they finally completed the work and closed out their permits. One of the units could not be rented until we did had the CO from the city.

We have been arguing over the $700 for some time, so today Rodney Taucher (President of Budget Heating & Air) decided to 'steal' the air conditioning units from the property. He is being charged with Grand Theft and I fully intend to have his business license revoked as well as charge him with all of the expenses the we will incur.

Do you know of other businesses that are better not to deal with? Please list them here.
