Welcome to the Evelyn City Neighborhood

Evelyn City is a subdivision of a large Tampa neighborhood known as Old Seminole Heights and was initially developed in the early 1900s. For the purposes of this blog, the boundaries will be: the Hillsborough River to the north, 275 to the West, 22nd Street to the East and Sligh Ave to the South.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and resolved in the area, however I feel that this is a great neighborhood to live in. We have a wonderful diversity of homes, people, parks, and businesses.

Mexican Themed Pot Luck for March 19th 7pm. The weather has certainly turned warmer, so please make plans to attend this monthly Pot Luck at the home of Wes & Faye Miller at 7310 Park Dr. This home is located along the river east of Hanna's Swirl. You will need to continue along the river to where Crenshaw dead ends at Park Dr.

Is it necessary to be an Evelyn City resident to attend these pot lucks? Just wondered but also would understand otherwise.

We request that these Pot Lucks be limited to the residents of this area.

E.C. has loose boundaries on the E. Yes, 17th is E of 15th, but we do not have a well-defined Eastern boundary.
