Welcome to the Evelyn City Neighborhood

Evelyn City is a subdivision of a large Tampa neighborhood known as Old Seminole Heights and was initially developed in the early 1900s. For the purposes of this blog, the boundaries will be: the Hillsborough River to the north, 275 to the West, 22nd Street to the East and Sligh Ave to the South.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and resolved in the area, however I feel that this is a great neighborhood to live in. We have a wonderful diversity of homes, people, parks, and businesses.

Ray Reed trys new Restaurant in the 'hood Venezia just opened at 1002 E. Hillsborough - that's the former Fish & Chips place at the corner of 9th & Hillsborough. Yes, they've cleaned it all up and they offer Pizza (18" ranges from $10.50 to $16.95) and it's great!
They make Stromboli and I've been told it's just like the stuff he used to get in New Jersey. Free Delivery, too. Pasta Dishes, too. Subs and Burgers. But, the chef is straight off the boat from Sicily so it should all be great. Go give it a try. I just ate a piece of cheese pizza and it's super!

Open M-Th 10-11
Fri, Sat 10-2AM
Sun 11-10

They take Visa and MC and their number is 813-374-9181.
